MT.RINJANI

The majestic Mount Rinjani volcano towering big on the island of Lombok. Climb the peak of Mount Rinjani can be an uplifting experience that you can feel. The true trekkers usually go on to the summit of the volcano. The volcano can be reached from Sembalun Lawang and spent 4 days ended in Senaru.

To ensure that local communities benefit from tourism revenue, the Rinjani Trek is managed by the National Park official partnership is representative of the community and the public and private sector industries Lombok tourism. Coordination of cooperative societies run discovery on the Rinjani Trek Center (RTC) in Senaru and the Rinjani Information Center (RIC) in Sembalun Lawang.

Revenue from tourism and admission is used for the conservation, management, and assist the National Park with maintenance of the Rinjani Trek, thus the National Park can be maintained well. This management model is unique management in Indonesia and is regarded as an example of the practice of ecotourism in Indonesia.
